New pb Vmp tvs 97 cobra

Went to the streetcar-takeover event in indy and ran the street racer class. Cruised from indy to Muncie dragway which was about a 58 mile drive and half of that in the rain on mt pros. It was humid as hell but still clicked off best new times.

car specs: 97 cobra ,teksid ,04 cobra heads ,manley rods and flattop pistons,vmp tvs 2.3 gt 500 tb, fb 4r70w

it really wasnt terrible just had to drive sensible

My buddy Rob Embrey built the engine. Originally the bottom end was built back in 2008 with b heads on a nitrous combo. Took it apart in 2010 ish and checked everything out after a nitrous backfire that was rather large. Added the 04 cobra heads ported by another local buddy Chuck Kuhns. Everything on the car is done local . My brother in-law tunes the car as well lol

run another new best but was only 1/8th mile .prolly would have been 9.35 or 9.40 1/4 on that pass.
