The main reason why I got it.... I can take it to another car and less attractive to thieves.

looks cool, I am not a big fan of the tiny screen...probably would have went with an AVIC

as far as thieves it still doesn't look stock so it can easily be stolen

I guess it makes sense if you have more then one car that needs GPS but then you could have picked up a standalone TomTom

Stolen with no screen? Anyway I have 3 cars so it being mobile is great for me.

apparently you dont get it. theres no point in getting an 850$ stereo that has a removable TomTom just because you dont want it getting stolen. You can EASILY steal it, and go out and buy a tom tom to work with it for 150$

like i said above, its an overpriced stereo with a 150$ tom tom in it.

I don't think you get it. For one.....I didn't pay $850 and no you can't buy a TomTom and simply put it in there....lol What would be the point of Eclipse doing that?, like you said it would be easy to steal it and just go out and buy another Tom Tom....lol

And what model were you referring to that is $350 less?

yes you can buy a tom tom for it. Eclipse sells them, you give them the model number and they will sell it to you.
