I finally got to the track since installing some Kooks lt's. Previously it went 12.9@108 with a 1.9 60ft in 65deg air. After headers it went 12.6@111 with a 1.9 60ft in 60deg air. The car is 3500 lbs with a 1/2 tank and me. A .3 tenth and 3 mph gain, I am pleased.

yes I retuned it. surprisingly it wasn't that far off. a little fat in the mid range (12.4) and a little lean lean on top (13.3), so just a small change to the maf curve it two spots and it 12.8-13.0 across the board.

I have never been on a dyno so I don't know how much if any the 98 cams did. I only did them because the chains and guides were worn out and had the 98 cams laying around, so I put them in and timed them when I replaced the chains, guides, and tensioners. it did feel stronger after I did the cams but part of that could of been the out of whack cam timing I had with the stock cams and the worn out componets. the cam timing was 122 centerline on the intake and 106 on the exhaust. There supposed to be around 114 for the factory setting. I have the 98 cams set at a 114 centerline give or take a half deg.

You will see a bigger gain on a mach 1 than on a 99-01 cobra. The mach Cams are 184 on the intake 194 exhaust. Stock 01 Cams are 200 intake 194 ex. And the 96-98 cobra Cams are 204in, 192ex. So the duration gain is quite a bit more on a mach. I believe there worth 10-15 rwhp on the mach 1's. If you had to pay a shop to install them though it may not be worth it. Then why not save and get a set of comp or crower cams. What other mods do you have?
