Wearability and performance are the biggest issue. What tire, other than the Nitto RRR 315, will fit on the stock rim (315's) with no clearance problems? Ie: Dunlop P315, Eagles ETC.
I plan on putting @ 12,000 miles a year and know that the Nittos wont last that long. The stock F1 rears lasted 13,000

it depends whatcha want

Kumo
Sumittomo
Michellin
Bridgestone

personally i prefer the S03 Pole Positions by Bridgestone.. we put them on vettes all the time and they work great for them.

Michellin is to expensive and its not any better then bridgstone's.

Kumo and SUmmitomo are cheap in price but dont last very long either.. however they provide good wet water traction

Nittos are the bomb hands down but they are a 5- 10 thousand mile tire.. hense there bad-ass'ness

Dunlops suck.. stay away from them... they go out of round in no time

I like the Yokohama AVS Sport. Great tire. Good wear. Pretty good price. Coolest tread pattern on the planet IMHO.

I have the Yoko AVS Sports on my car at this moment. 275/40/17 front and 315/35/17 (17x10.5" wheel)on the back, very good all around tire. The Kuhmo MX and the Goodyear F1 GS-D3 are great tires for both wet/dry performance. I am going with the Nitto DR for the summer months. However, the only 315 tire I would use on the stock rims would be the Nitto DR.
