Got a new winter car on friday. 205 hp 4 cylinder with eaton supercharger. It's not too fast, but it's fun enough. Handles very well. Nicely built, quiet and composed. The XM radio and MP3 stereo are pretty nice. Wheel hop and torque steer suck. Tough car to shift because it's too easy to spin the tires between shifts, and if you spin you have to get fully off the gas. The stock tires suck in the snow, I'm going to sell these and get some dedicated snow tires and some new rims.

Looks like a pretty cool car. I may get something like this for a fun DD. I like the Saturn Sky.

We were checking that unit out at the auto show last year...very nice package for it's use and the money...not to mention one helluva "winter beater"!!

I especially like the pillar guage and Recaro's....

yeah i tried to yank that front plate already, but you need a special tool, like a torx bit with 3 blades. I'm going to have to find one somewhere.

I bought a set at Sears that includes every useless tamper proof configuration known to man.
And it came with a handle and you just swap bits.
20 dollars I think. Comes in handy sometimes.

I like those cars. If the SRT-4 was not out at the time I would have bought that one. Next driver I need I will. In the meantime let's race the beater's! :burnout:

Doug, your wish has come true. Let the surgury commense :)

And btw.. if that's what you call a beater I'd hate to hear your thoughts on my Cavalier.

Spent the last week wrenching on the fuel pump and exhaust.
