ok....I've read lots of stuff about this DSI clip and motor and that it goes out on us regularly. I still have not been able to figure out what its for. I'm sure there are many of you who know what it does. Can you help out a noob?? :shrug:

DSI = Dual stage intake
We have a variable intake manifold. Gives us the best torque and the optimal hp.
Clip breaks after a while, motor gets overworked too. Need to be replaced.

ok so if I wanna put in a cold air intake is there anything special I have to do other than take out the old box and plumbing and replace it with the CAI?
