Nitto 555 dr cracked

I bought and had nittos 555dr 245/45/17 installed last fall.
I use my car in the winter as long as the roads are dry and no salt is on them.
Well I noticed there are cracks going across the tire, at least an inch long It has been real cold some days I have had it out.
Anyone else have this happen?

How deep are they into the tire. The nittos on my car have a few cracks on them.

Hard to tell for sure, looks maybe as deep as the tread. The cracks are in the meat of the tire on the outer side (not sidewall).There are no chunks of rubber coming off any way(yet).

Mine where on the sidewall. Is your tire rubbing your fenderwell or did you run over something.

look here is the deal nitto when cold (up north) where they cant warm up the tire compound is prittey soft so they dont have a chance to warm up out where i live in az the temputer is hire on the roads and especialy during the summer the rubber compound warms up so the rubber stays harder than what they are designd for they have a tendincy to crack a lot of tires of do and a few dont like the bfg's. well i hope this helps let me know
