Nitto NT01 Daily Driven

Has anyone used the Nitto NT01 on a daily driver? I was thinking about driving them a couple hundred miles to a track event to get some heat into them and wear in the outer tread surface. This would also allow me to not tow my tire trailer. I'm afraid that tires might chuck on the freeway over a few hours or suffer excessive wear.

A buddy of mine runs the NT01's on the street all the time without any problems....and I've put about 10k street miles on a set of 555R Drag Radials with no problem whatsoever, I believe the compounds are very similar on those two tires, except that the NT01 has a stiffer sidewall than the 555R

Should be fine man.

Not the same tire, but similar. I have driven back and forth to Gingerman without a problem on Nitto NT555R II's. They were my daily drivers for a summer season also. Biggest thing to watch for imho is standing water or heavy rain.
