I'm looking for a soft compound tire that will fit on the stock Mach wheels (17 x 8).
I'd like to run nitto nt05 tires as they seem to be a soft compound street tire (trying to avoid drag radials). The problem is the closest option to correct overall diameter is the 275/40/17 which is a little wide for the 8 inch rim. I know nitto runs small so I may end up going this route.
Looking for feedback from you guys. Anyone running this set up? A different tire option maybe?
Car never sees rain. 1 to 2k miles per year so not worried about mileage I will get from the tires either.
