Looking for tires. I love my 555r for daily just wondering if the NT's provide the same amount of grip and wear and I'm not sure if the 20" 315 NT05 fits this rim or not. Advise is welcomed. Thanks!

I guess it depends on where you go for install. The local Discount Tire told me they wouldn't mount 305's much less 315's on the stock rim. Bought 20x10 super snake rims and the315's fit fine. Does half an inch make that big of difference? I wouldn't think so. Gave me an excuse to put different rims on the ride though and they stick out just enough for me

The regular nt05 would be a huge down grade, 555r’s are the best for a daily imo. Nto5r is going to be scary in the rain but better dry traction.

I am going to discount tire as they will match any online price. They wouldn't install the 305 555r until I said the rim was widened but they are not. So I didn't think the NT05R 315 would fit the stock rim

Thanks for that info. So I can throw out the regular NT05 and only look at 555r again or the NT05R 315 if it fits...

I had them match their own website price which was cheaper and then they were offering a $40 instant rebate for buying 4 tires at one time.

Do you know the offset of those rims? Is your car lowered?

I'm looking to throw a set of 315 NT05Rs on a 20x10 rim with +40mm offset, lowered with Eibach Pro Kit springs.
