the good news is that the car is all together with all fluids topped etc

the bad news is I have no spark.
...the distributor turns when the car is cranked
...also am getting fuel as it can be smelled out the exhaust
...I pulled a couple wires and put some plugs on the manifold etc; no spark
None, not even off the coil.

What could be the culprit?
...help me troubleshoot.

Check the brown connector on the coil. Sometimes one of the wires pushes out of the connector as you're pushing it on the coil. I believe it is a brown wire(?).
The connector snaps on the coil, and you think it's connected, but...

That connector looks good.

Could the electronics in the dizzy Be bad (if it was dropped)? Dwell pickup?
...I don't think there is a crank or cam position sensor otherwise...

Replace the ignition module. I had a similiar problem on mine once. Took me 2 days of tinkering to figure out the problem.

RUSLOW had an ignition problem that I think wound up being a pick up in a new dist. One more place to look.

... was thinking the same...but the fuel injectors seem to work. From what I'm reading it seems that if the dizzy pickup "PIP" is bad there will be no spark and the fuel injectors won't fire (I think)

will need to pick up a Noid light and test the injectors.

Or do they have a seperate pickup?
