Need help installed motor won't start

I need help I just dropped the engine back in the cobra, and it will not start the theft light flashes while cranking, I have file and I have fire but it will not start. This is extremely aggravating. Where do I start I pulled the plugs out they have fuel on them and laid them against intake and getting a spark.

Update the oil smells like gas. And it is flooded.

Ok, I just went through this when I rebuilt mine..... First question... Did you reinstall the crank trigger wheel?

If the theft light is flashing, it won't start due to the PATS.

In my car, the theft light flashes when I open the door. It stops flashing when I close the door. Then I put the key in the ignition and turn it to the on position, the theft light goes on for a few seconds, then goes off. While cranking, the theft light stays out, and my car starts.

So start digging into your PATS. Fortunately for me (but not for you) I have never had a PATS issue, so I have never had to dig into the system to debug it...

I dropped if off with a mechanic. I tried to start it and it popped in the intake
