Running this size Sumitomo right now, and its a decent tire for the money. But, am looking for something a little better. All I can find is the GY GS-D3, but geez they're expensive!!!
Any idea's would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

sumitomos are shit tires thats why they barely cost anything and arent as wide as say the BFG or goodyear 315s. any decent street tire in that size is big $$$, drag radials are priced right in the middle. not a lot of options available

DITTO!!! I have superhomos 315 in rear and you might as well dip them in buter, but for 97 bucks each, it was worth the chance :), dr's are going back on after I ware out the homo's

GSD3...GY has a discount on 'em right now I think.

They're worth it :burnout: good all around tire.

yeah the goodyears are nice and if i could afford them itd be my option for a street tire. the sumitomos are really only good for burnout tires. im running Bfg drags in that size but the only last a few months. probably gunna try some nittos next time around

I totally agree!!

I had a set before I went with aftermarket wheels. They are awesome tires.
But, also, very very expensive. I called DTD and when the price was quoted to me, well, let me just say it was a good thing I was sitting down! LOL.

So, began my quest for a more reasonable alternative.

Sure, I'd love to pop for the GS-D3's, but gonna have to rob a bank first! LOL

I went from BFG's to Nitto's and they don't hook nearly as good but are much better than a street tire still. And they last A LOT longer than the BFG's did.
