cant be too big of a deal. plenty of fox guys do it. considering elimination of hydro-boost altogether. manual brakes AND manual steering. only time power steering matters is parallel parking.

that said, ive driven big block early mustangs with dead power steering which is worse than manual steering.

and no im not charles atlas.

I hate power steering (I feel like I'm driving with welding gloves on) and the weight reduction and less drag on the motor would be great. I think the hardest thing would be getting an idler pulley rigged up for where the pump went.

then you going to manual brakes also, what pads would you use to slow down a 3600 pound vehicle either on track or on the street?
