After looking at some pics it seems that Ford took the "4x4 look" out of the base GT500's. It looks to sit just as low as the 11-12 PP models. What do you think? If so that is a good thing because that is the main reason why I opted for the $3,500 PP on my 2011.
SVT never intended that 70% of 11-12 owners would get the PP but they did probably based on looks but now that the base model shares the same gearing, tires, ride height, similar flat faced spoke'd rims as the PP I can see more owners holding back on the PP option. I'd personally rather get Recaro's, NAV and a glass roof over the PP if I was buying a 2013, or go base and spend less then I did on a 2011 PP w/ NAV.
