Does anyone know the law about having nitrous in texas? All i could find was that it was illegal to have for the use of inhaling. Anybody?

You can have it but you can't have the bottle hooked up on the streets was what one LEO told me, but another said you can have it hooked up and could use it even as long as you're under the speed limit lol. I could be wrong totally but just what i was told.

I searched and searched for a law that even mentioned nitrous for automobile use and couldn't find one. I don't think a cop is going to bust you for it in Texas.
I don't know of any law here in Texas that states you cannot use it on the streets.
nitrous oxide was exactly what the LEOs were looking for after they told me to pop the hood, they wanted to see the trunk next. Then again, I'm in Cali and passing gas from your anus is illegal. :shrug:
I got pulled over in my 01 cobra with the nos hooked up and all. All the cop said was, "I see you have nitrous, have you been doing any street racing?" So apparently it's not too big of a deal.
