nos question like to max out my shot

i have the nos blackout kit and the instruction said at 125 shot to retard the timing is it necessary to do so.
i have few engine mods up grades bigger injector throttle body and upper intake spacer cold air, will make a different or as to do with the timing.

You need to retard timing for sure with 125 shot, otheriwise you will get detonation. They say 2 degrees every 50hp

thanks.... so even if i go 100 shot i got to retard the timing.
and if i retard the timing and not use the nos is the car loosing power will i see the different.

Some people get away with not pulling any timing on a factory tuned car but it's always a good idea to pull timing. Consequences are a blown motor, on my car I can tell when I pull timing and run on motor it's sluggish. But not horrible
