I would order a new one. If money isnt an issue then look up the guy on mod fords that makes them. I have had mine rebuilt twice and it drove me nuts. I found a used one on here for about $75 and tossed it on and works like a dream again.

I run a 2.8 upper, with a 3lb lower and a 3.5 alternator pulley NOW. I never did the alternator pulley until this last time I swapped it out.

if you have a lower pulley kit youll need to run a larger alt pulley to slow it down, otherwise you will just keep blowing alts from overspinning them.

A stock one from Ford or look up the guy on Modularfords like Boosted suggested. Whatever you do DO NOT get one from Autozone, even though they have a lifetime warranty it's not worth changing them every 3 or 4 months.

Just get you a new Motorcraft replacement. You will need a 3.2 alternator pulley to slow it down since you have a 4lb. lower.
