Craig, I seen that plate on a coupe at Baytown FFW a couple yrs. ago and I wanted to get it when I got a coupe but I thought it was taken cause I tried it at www.expresslane.org . If its available, it mine :thumbsup: .

Second place in the 12 second bracket with a 12.13. Good for nothing. That 12.46 killed my average. On a good note I went 11.89 @ 117.77 today. Still on stock exhaust and stock Goodyear F1's. Even my dad replied the car is too fast to be that quiet. :rockon:

You should have made the top 25. There were 2-9 second cars, 2-3 10 second cars, 3 or so 11 second cars, 4-5 12 second cars, then a bunch of 13,14,15 second times.

Congrats all, I had a crappy weekend,
Worked my a$$ off helping Billy with his vendor booth.
Traction lock went out. (as Richard said "Man you got one wheel peel")
Couldn't get past the 2nd round for shit.
Car was so inconsistant it's pitiful.

On the good side, It did trap 109 on 1 pass.

My decision is made (down to 2 options at least)
I now have another car for the road course so I can quit screwing with the cobra trying to do both.

1.KB S/C at 6psi, Build the rear and a stout C4 auto with about a 4500 stall and some weight reduction and turn the Cobra into a bracket racer.

2.Leave the cobra a street car and build a 9sec rail dragster.

Leaning more to #2

Take all the corner carving stuff off the Cobra and put a 100 shot on it. That will cure your blues.

Not bad at all Rich and Kev. I should have done better planning cause i didn't know either of you were there until i was already there. I think i should have run now only cause the track looks like it hooks alot better than over here.

Kevin, what troubles were you having. I found the track to be hooking pretty good. The truck was even putting down 1.78-1.83 60fts. Those of us who know you, know your Cobra is much quicker than the average. Your second pass blew also. I wonder if something was on the starting line?
