And the Charlie Brown Christmas SpecialExcept of course the theme music from Chevy Chase's Christmas Vacation.
Took me about a minute to see the happy.people....hahahahaha!!! Definitely need therapy!! I frequent this thread and laugh, so I already knew that shit!!!
Between this and looking at lower splitters/air dams pulled back on curbs and parking blocks, I love watching people park.
This is quite possibly one of the most wonderful posts I have ever read. One day my mom pulled too far forward in her car and scuffed the underside of the bumper on a parking block.
Now we all know about the sixth sense that being a dad endows on men when it comes to knowing someone touched the thermostat- but my old man had a special gift when it came to cars. He got home, wandered through the garage as he usually did, but something drew him to the front of the car that day. He must have sensed a disturbance in the paint as he got down on the ground to look under the car- completely unprovoked. He proceeded to lose his goddamn mind when he noticed the scuff.
And apparently it's genetic. One day the girlfriend got home, pulled her car in the driveway. My eye was instantly drawn to the curb rash on the right rear wheel.
"I just did that! How did you know?"
Then I had flashbacks.
Now I'm facing my future of wearing socks with my sandals and constantly updating people about the weather.
I dont know, man. Yours was pretty entertaining too. Gun to my head, I would choose the OP, but I literally laughed out loud with the "Sun rose just for me" part. LMAO.This is quite possibly one of the most wonderful posts I have ever read.
From the thermostat OCD to the curb rash on the gf's car, I'm 100% on the same page.
I've given her shit for getting too close and/or running over the curb by our house when making a right turn. "Yeah yeah yeah. It's fine! Shut up about it." And then, one glorious day, apparently the sun rose just for me. A beam of light shined through the garage and glistened off the fresh curb rash on her passenger side wheel (remember, right turn so it all makes sense). Instead of calling her out, I boogered some gloss black paint over to hide it a bit. I must have done a decent job because a day later, we're in the garage and she's talking about how she brushed the curb and is glad she didn't do any damage. HA! Showed her what she did and gave her the "I told ya so" look. Not a peep.
lol, 556Are those for nailing some toe?
Truth. 100% truth. I always remind my joes that everything we have is lowest bidder bullcrap!
