Oasis report.. question.

What info do i need to run an oasis report?

The vin only? no other info?

I maybe not understanding what all is in the osasis report. Could something be missing if "any" work was done outside the dealership? I would imagine so.

The only things to show up on OASIS would be work performed at a Ford dealer.

Just for the sake of being precise, it's all warrantee work performed at a Ford dealer.

OASIS = On-Line Automotive Service Information System

Ford keeps a record of all warrantee repair work done to a vehicle for the past 10 years in their OASIS database.

^^^^ What Stewart said. If the engine was replaced 10 miles outside of warranty coverage it will not show up on ether the Oasis Report or the Warranty History Report.

Anybody can go into any dealership and ask for an Oasis Report printout on their car. All you need to do is take in your registration and in some cases a valid photo ID and they will run it for free for you.
