How many of you had to cut the bumpstop brackets to fit your rear wheels? I have Shelby CS1 20x11 rears with +55 offset and 305/30/20 Michelin PSS and I had to cut my bumpstop brackets out, it wasn't even close to fitting with the brackets still on the car.

Not here. Then again, I'm running a 20x10.5 +45 and haven't lowered yet. Well, I did lower it from a Brembo gap perspective (55D rear springs), but that's just bringing it back closer to GT height. Hopefully, I'll be ordering all the suspension bits and pieces soon.

Just got my street/track square setup on...
19x10 Forgestar CF10, 40 offset (3mm spacer in front to clear Brembos)
285/35 RE11s
Lowered 1.5"

Loving the Black Charcoal color. It came out a little more gray than I was expecting, but I was prepared for this as Forgestar already told me that this color was "hard to do"
Unfortunately I thought this meant the color can vary, but it also means it's prone to having some bubbles or small defects. Nothing you'd notice unless you were up real close or looking for it though. They gave me a discount to make up for it so all is well in my world, although I'd recommend avoiding purchasing this color.

Didn't see this set up on here!!!

This thread was so instrumental in helping me choose tire sizes for my Mustang that I thought it only appropriate to return the favor now that I have mine done. It's a 2012 GT500 with the SVT performance suspension package. I lower almost all of my cars but the SVT suspension is an expensive option AND I bought this car primarily for travel so I really wanted to avoid the typical lowering headaches, especially with passengers and luggage added. The SVT cars are also already 11mm front & 8mm rear lower than the standard GT500, Yoo-Hoo!, so I decided to go with larger diameter tires to enhance the effect. Another irritating issue is the oversize front calipers. I was really itching for a big set of gray Boss 338's but the Brembo's made them impossible along with a lot of the other traditional deep lip style spoke rims. The end result was as follows:

American Racing Torq Thrust M's in Anthracite
Rear : 20 X 10 ET + 45 with 315/35/20
Front: 20 X 9 ET + 30 with 265/40/20

Ford sets the front end of the SVT cars with a lot of negative camber so I loosened everything up, slightly "jigged" the upper strut bolt and pulled out all the slack I could and it added about .4 degrees of positive camber back so now I'm at about .8 negative, which shouldn't be too detrimental to inner tire wear. Had everything high speed balanced on the car so it rides nice with this set up, especially at high speeds. The SVT springs are pretty stout so they have very similar ride characteristics of most lowering springs and best of all; No scrubbing.

Hey all! Just got a 2014 coupe and am brainstorming ideas for some new shoes. Would 18x9.5 +27s fit or is that too aggressive of an offset?
