I also ride in the Hayward area every year, my trail beast is an apex. It's hard to beat the sound of them apex's/rx1's
I've never had the "pleasure" of making it to Hurley haha. Certainly heard lots of stories though
Sold this old girl few years ago, mint 77srx. Worth to much to ride but it was cool.
These are the only pics I got of the vmax. 95 vmax4 800 4 cylinder 2-stroke, shaved head, port and polished, clutched, 200+studs and tuned Aaen straight pipes! I'll have to bust this old girl out soon.

I always keep an eye on CL for a nice VMax 4. Would make a great sled for the Fox River.
My buddy's parents have a place right by the LCO Casino. It's nice get to keep my sled there and stay for free. Hopefully we can get up there for New Years if trails are rideable.
wow, those are some clean older sleds. would be fun if I had the space to collect some older sledsSold this old girl few years ago, mint 77srx. Worth to much to ride but it was cool.

To be honest, most sleds don't sound terribly great to me. The only exception is those Yamaha Apex that had the exhaust run out the back under the seat. Those things sound amazing
I miss that thing.
thanks man, i jinxed myself ECU and voltage regulator for 1000.00, two days on a bus with greyhound I was able to get out on Sunday
This was a video I made of that trip. It was the first GoPro vid I had ever put together.
