Well a car that was purchased off this forum, then wrecked, has a unique problem. The rear end was damaged in an accident and it wasn't apparent that all the rear end fluid leaked out and the rear end completely seized.

Long story short, after insurance paid for a rebuilt, 30k mile, rear end from a 03 GT w/ 323 gears, cosmetically the car from the rear does not look correct. In fact the offset from one side to the other is as best as I could put it..."off". One side seems tucked under the fender, and the other seems to have almost a 'spacer' look to it. I will try to have pics up tomorrow.

In short, if the rear end was all replaced, what needs to be replaced/adjusted in order for that offset to look consistent? :cuss:

The only items that "locate" the axle side to side are the control arms and their mounting points in the chassis. So if those are bent or off at all then it would make perfect sense that the axle housing could be off center.
