I developed an oil leak while I was at the SVTOA event at Pikes Peak International Raceway a couple of weeks ago. I noticed a pool of oil under my car when I came back Sunday morning and when I started the car, there was a constant drip of oil. I decided not to run the car on Sunday. Kevin Rogers let me take his 2000 Cobra R out for a spin. Now that is a friend..
When I got back to Houston, I went to Kenny Bumbera's and he found that a clamp had worn a hole in one of the two oil lines. Both lines are very close together. Everyone should check these lines to make sure they are not being damaged due to interference with each other. Kenny installed new lines with airquip connections. I am now ready for the SVTOA event at Texas World Speedway.
We would sure love to see some of the guys from up north show up for the event. It will be a blast. :beer:
