I have a Canton 7 quart oil pan on my car. I want to change the oil in but I'm not sure how many quarts to put in it with the bigger pan. Any help would be appreciated.

Well, I would review Cobra Bobs information on calibrating the dipstick and then add oil based on the calibrated dipstick reading until it gets near the full mark.

These engines don't like to be starved of oil. You would be amazed how much oil is at the top end when the engine is in the upper RPM's with the HO oil pump. If you look at a dipstick relative to the crank when inserted, you will see that the full level is below the lowest point that the crank penetrates the pan. Personally I would not change the mark on the stick. Add R compound tires to the mix and you will be glad you had the extra oil.
