Hey guys, went to the track yesterday for the first time since the axle swap. I'll post my best times but have questions. Air temps yesterday were reported to be at or very close to 100 degrees, humidity was about 60%. Best ET time wise was with 275/40 BFG dr's, nice 5-6 second burnout, launching at 5000rpms:

r/t .449
60' 2.1
330 5.80
1/8 8.84
mph 81.45
1000 11.42
1/4 13.58
mph 104.4

Best mph was with street tires, 3000rpm launch:

r/t .021
60' 2.2
330 6.02
1/8 9.04
mph 81.9
1000 11.61
1/4 13.75
mph 107.5

Mods are in my sig. I guess I need to go back to 4.30s and go ahead and beef up the rear to get out of the hole. I'm happy with the mph though. I ran a bunch of other runs in the 106s. I should be in the 12s as soon as I can get those 60 foot times down.

So with a mph of 107.5 what SHOULD that equate too in the 1/4 assuming a sub 2.0 sixty foot time?

You're leaving a ton of ET on the table in the first 1/8 mile. With BFG drag radials, you should have sub 2.0 60's with ease. Are you spinning or bogging? Are you granny shifting? Something is going on in that first 60 ft that's killing your 1/8 mile time, and blowing your run overall.

The track prep wasn't great and with the heat it was just a bad day all around. Others running drs were still at 2.x 60 foot times.

On that 13.5 run I ran it up to 5000rpms and just let it rip. The car bogged pretty good out of the whole. Shifted at 6800 through all gears. I'm guessing the 3.73s aren't helping me.
