Hello, fellow SVT owners! <--feels good to finally say that. I've been lurking on here for a few years, gathering some great information, but always working on someone else's Mudstain :nonono:

Well, I finally landed my own triple black vert. :dancenana: Bought the '01 off of donnieb83.

I know, no pics, didn't happen... Well, I have pics, but they're just the one's from Donnie, so they don't prove anything. :burn: Pics will be up in a build thread once I get started on this thing. It's pretty much stock for now except for a JLT FWI, dynomax mufflers, and a cheap stereo wired into the factory amps :loser:

Speaking of build-up (since I know you're all going to ask) here's the first order of business:
Total IRS rebuild - all FTBR bushings, 03-04 pinion brace, diff cover brace, 4.10's, trac-lok carbon clutch pack, all new diff shims and bearings. Can you tell I only want to tear that thing down once?

Chassis work - FLSFC and upper frame rails, 4-point roll bar (daily driver friendly for now), and core support brace.
A little motor work to clear things up will be PCV delete (I don't need an oil-varnished intake), might as well scrap the EGR while I'm at it too, remove cats, and give her a tune so she can sing :burnout:
Sometime after that... coil overs done the right way with all the trimmings.
Some cosmetic fixes along the way - stock spoiler (already acquired), new seat covers, rear bumper repair and get rid of those dang chrome letters:xpl: and fab a new shifter that I can actually reach!

Looking forward to getting to know some of the svt folks around North Ga :coolman:

Congrats on the purchase. Love the color!! The top pic reminds me that I need to make time to paint my calipers.

Looks like a nice car for sure. Untint those tail lights so everyone can see the ambers! Good luck with it

I wouldn't have it any other way.

I have always owned jeeps up until last year when I sold my last one. Soon after, I bought a 78 F150 4wd that I've been working on. When we went to get the vert, my wife said, "we've finally replaced the jeep even though it took two."

Took care of that within 12 hours of bringing her home.
The amber and clear on one side has a little moisture that I'll have to dry and seal. Any tricks to that?
