This is an old race.... probably mid oct. 2008.

Anyways, the run down:

Me: 2008 C6 Z06 Intake/Tune 465rwhp SAE.

The other guy: E60 M5 Intake/Exhaust/125-150shot. I honestly cannot remember if it was a 125shot or a 150shot but for certain it was at least a 125shot.

The races started with me in 1st anywhere from 45-55ph... really high in first.

Even now under stock power the stock GY's would never hook up top like that like the Bridgestones did.... honestly, a fantastic tire! (325/30/19)

Anyways, enjoy! Not a day time run but still fun to watch. That first race I let off around 155-160mph.

Great runs ...

ZO6 in 1st gear 40-50mph with traction are deadly.
I just hate when someone starts in 2nd gear from 40-45mph in ZO6 even if the car spins a little.

Correct.

1st from a 40-50mph nasty. There is a vid of that silver car here racing a ported cobra but I had no tire then and had to start out of 2nd knowing that the cobra was going to get a solid jump. The Z06, in 2nd, is more of a 60-65mph roll (Hell, even a 70mph but that's for the turbo FWD guys!) but definitely not a 40mph.

Those runs I would spin a tad so I wouldn't go 100% WOT but more of a fast squeeze of the throttle (no homo) It goes by fast so you have to stay on your toes and not smack the limiter.

I can honestly say that I've seen some races against Z06's and the race would of been a better one if the guy driving the Z06 would shift faster/precise and/or start in the right gear.

yeah heard nothing but good 'bout them bridgestones

Yeup.... mine are ordered and hopefully I'll get them installed on friday/sat.

Weight (lack thereof)=free HP.

100% agree.... the M5 is just too heavy and needs more. The problem is that the aftermarket, though ok, is GTR R35 crazy expensive and almost not worth it.
