Watched Canada vs Cuba today, good game even tho we lost. They were saying that baseball would be dropped from the Olympics after this year, anyone know why? There are alot more things that should be dropped before baseball.

i agree if we could get some of our pros out there like we do for basketball it would be a better turn out.
its not really a world sport, although it is expanding. i think the real reason is London doesn't want to build a baseball stadium. i have actually heard they want to add cricket and rugby. rugby i wouldn't mind, cricket is pushing it, although i always enjoyed playing.

Softball is also going to be dropped. Too bad for us as we have an outstanding team and should win the gold!
outside of the americas, it's not very popular.
