Actually it was slow compared to the competition...It won on reliability believe it or not

I think this thing would be a bear to drive, rotaries are notorious for drowning out everything in a race car. I remember other teams complaining about there noise at the 24 hrs. of Daytona in the RX8, the engine is deafening. still the roar of them is what a race engine should sound like, just like the old F1 cars, no restrictions on noise, just make it fast and last long enough to finish the race.
