I rather keep it concealed, but, I'm glad people have the choice to carry it any way they want to.

PA is open carry w/o permit and concealed carry with permit. Private establishments (malls, bars, restaurants, the city of Philadelphia, etc.) can disallow open carry and have you escorted off the premises, but your breaking no laws (except in Philly).

Biggest thing is, at least in PA, once you are in a vehicle it is considered concealed even if it is visible. So you'd have to walk everywhere.

yeppers...i have my PA CC permit and it saved my butt once.

The PGC was checking peoples vehicles leaving state gamelands one day during small game season and the first thing he saw was my pistol...i showed my CC card and all was well

illinois is lame. in missouri you can open carry as long as local law allows, but you can concealed carry in your car with or without a permit as long as you are 21.

Why don't you get a permit?

I don't even want to get into Commie california.

Actually, Unloaded Open Carry is completely legal in California (assuming you are not in a school zone or any are where firearms are banned).

It is completely legal to carry an unloaded handgun on your belt (exposed) and you can keep the loaded magazines on your belt next to the handgun - as long as the magazines are not physically touching the handgun, you are good to go.

Yup.....The DCPD is being sued for violating the rights of the individual(s) who decided to open carry at Old Country Buffet. If you saw some of the people on the DCPD, you seriously wonder how some people are able to "protect and serve" the community. What irks me (besides the dcpd not knowing the law) was how they confiscated someone's firearm for a period of time.

One of the very few good things about living in VT... Anyone can carry concealed or open legally. No need for a permit.
