Ordered 1st mod: Magnaflow Competition Series 15594 axle-back exhaust

Amazon, strangely enough, had the best price ($435 shipped), and being a Prime member, it'll be here this Thursday. Looking forward to the install.

These are basically equivalent to the SLP Loudmouth exhaust from what I've read online. 3" axleback piping with 4" polished stainless steel tips. From what I've seen, they basically eliminate the mufflers. I plan on keeping the stock mid-pipe and exhaust manifolds.

It should drop some weight in the back, and open her up nicely. Will try to post some pics and a sound clip when done.

This is my weekend car so I'm not overly concerned with noise pollution (per say) or cabin drone.

How different does this setup sound than the SLP loudmouths? I had the SLP on my 2006 GT, but not sure how that kind of setup would sound on my 2007 GT500 with a stock midpipe.
