Looking to order a 2.9 whipple in the next two days trying to decide between the 2.9 std and the crusher I’m not looking to run over 800rwhp anytime soon is the extra money worth the crusher inlet? Also any new data on the gen 3 whipple compared to the gen 2? (I will be on e85)

So I believe that that standard inlet on the 2.9 is a bit of a restriction. From what I've seen it wont hurt you if you are near sea level. I'm at almost 4k' and I'm seeing 19/20psi at a pulley that produces 23/24 at sea level.

I'm tossing the idea around of modifying my inlet and throwing a gt500 TB on or going to a vmp 2.65. Just not sure if the couple grand is worth a couple psi

Go big or go home. Three four crusher and a e85 fuel system.

I usually have that attitude about this kind of stuff but I’m not trying to spend an extra $1,500 if I’m not going to see a benefit for the power level I’m trying to run.
