I had to jump through hoops to start the thread lol! ;) They are both 11 months old. I know they can chew things up to about 2 years of age. After that they usually mellow out. We've had quite a few Beagles over the years. Lol yes our back yard looks like the moon. They have dug holes everywhere. And destroyed quite a few things. They stay in a crate inside for now till they become civilized. I can't have them chewing through electrical wire lol! The beagle that chewed the fiber optic wire also caught a bird yesterday the same day the tech was there to replace it! The bird was still alive but too badly injured and I had to get rid of it. As far as I know they already killed 3 birds. One bird they completely ate. They also caught a squirrel one day and my wife had to intervene. The squirrel was getting slammed back and forth on the ground from its tail - similar to Hulk smashing Loki in the Avengers. The squirrel escaped though after my wife's intervention and then picked up another squirrel and ran up a tree with it! I am waiting for the day they catch a raccoon, possum or cat. That should be interesting! Over the phone I was told if it is outside the house they won't charge. The tech told me though that they will probably charge $99. He did not take my signature and noted in his file that I refused to pay. My argument would be why was the wire installed like that in the first place. I have found that ATT are willing to work with you. I'll be making the call to get the charge waived. LOL! That's a good age! My wife had a beagle growing up and he lived for 18 years! She once caught one of our beagles running around with my wallet in the house. That same beagle also picked up a used condom in the street on one of our walks. They are game for anything.
