ok I read all the threads about overheating problems and burping the system correctly. Ever since I had my motor rebuilt I have been having overheating issues, so far I have put a new thermostat, new radiator, new hoses, even new radiator cap and burped the system at least 5-6 times. I am at a lost I can not seem to keep the car from overheating.

^^^ everything is in right. I was hoping someone else had this experience.

I did, but my block turned out to be cracked.

You can get a cheap test kit at NAPA that will tell you if there's exhaust gas in your coolant or not. That might at least let you rule out a head gasket, considering you changed everything outside the engine.

I agree something must not be right in the engine assembly.

Although I never drained my system completely i did drain it enough to do the thermostat. It took 10 mins and one burping session outlined by Reische Performance to have mine done.
