P0340 - Cam Sensor malfunction --help plz

Guys my SES light came on and I'm getting a P0340- code on my predator.


1) Any one know where this sensor is or what it looks like so I can take a look at the wires?

2) Anyone know the part number of the replacement sensor and if thats possibile to do yourself?

the cam sensor is behind your power steering fluid resevior.

just go to the ford dealer, they should easily be able to find the part.

replacing it is the matter of 1 bolt. piece of cake

If it is I am wondering how to repalce that.. hope no wire needs to be spliced.

no, nothing needs to be spliced.

take the powersteering resevior off and it should instantly be clear how to replace it
