I was look'n on your chart for a"Gatorback" belt that
will work with the BF 2.76 & Full "4" Idler SetUp. I think
the idlers are 3-100's & 1-92 but not sure. Maybe Doug
can chime in on this. I'll be ordering from BF in the AM
but as they don't have belts, I just want to get the right
one the first time. I'm taking a guess that the Gatorback
# is 4080750 which would be the 75" correct? Also where
did you get the belt in stock?

75" belt will be too big. You will slip bad with that belt. You need a 74.5" or maybe even a 74" if you want it super tight.

I'm not CobraBob, but I did sleep at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

I've got a BF 2.93upper, (2) BF 100mm idlers, (2) 92mm idlers, and a 75" belt. With my 75in belt, the tensioner rides right in the center of its travel range. You are adding about 0.5in with the third 100mm idler versus my second 92mm idler, but reducing your length by about 0.35in with the 2.76 upper versus my 2.93 upper. That's a net 0.15in increase. So you might be ok with a 75in stock belt. If that is too tight, then you will need a 75.5in belt.

Also, if the 75in belt ends up being too tight, you could replace the lower 100mm idler with the stock 90mm idler until you can locate a 75.5in belt.

So you won't be stuck.

CB and or Doug, correct me if I'm wrong.

I should also mention what with a BF 3.1upper, (2) BF 100mm idlers, (2) 92mm idlers, and a 75" belt I was in the upper end of the idler's travel range. A 3.1in requires about 0.35in more belt length than with a 2.93in.

You only need an extra 0.15in. So I feel even stronger that you should be ok with the stock belt.

2.76 and a 4 Pulley Idler and Bracket kit (3 100mm, 1 92mm) uses the stock belt

With this setup, your tensioner will be right where you want it to be and you don't have to pay $25-$40 on a new belt( unless you want to)

Hope this helps

what would be the ideal set up with the 2.85 pulley, I would like to do the billetflow system and they mention a three or four pulley setup so if I did go with the four pulley setup what would i need for the belt?
Thanks

whatever stock size is!

I just make things and belt aren't one of the things I make

Maybe someone else could chime in with the size of the stock belt.
