painting bumper

on my last car, i painted the lower (rear) bumper flat black and i really liked it. but now i have a black car. i was curious as to if it will look good with a flat black lower bumper on a gloss black car.

if anyone has any pictures to help me decide, that would be great.

Have seen rear taillight bezels on a black car left flat black and it didnt look good at all to me.Can't imagine a bumper looking good either.Just my opinion.

I want to do the same to my black 98. I think it'll match the mirrors and cowl pretty well. Just haven't had the patience to get down there and start, ha.

its all of a 5min job, and i have the paint, its just a matter of whether it will look good or not. i did it on my Pacific Green moosewang, and it looked great. dunno about flat on gloss black though.

Try it and see if you like it or not. It wouldn't be that big of a deal to back to gloss.

Why not get a vinly flat black strip and stick it on there see how it looks if you like it then paint it if not pull the vinly off.

IMO, I think it would looks great flat black!

w/e floats your boat, but i think if your going to do a flat black anything, you should do the whole thing, rat rod black. that looks awesome
