I would search, but its down.

My calipers have faded pretty badly. Not sure why, but a friend with an '01 with the same mileage as me does not have this problem. I want to install the Eradispeed rotors and Hawk front pads I have on Sunday and would like to paint the calipers while I do it.
I want to go black with the COBRA lettering left metal.
I have heard that the VHT caliper paint is good, and also noticed an add for a new Duplicolor kit (comes with cleaner, masking tape, and is brush-on).
Anyone done this? Advice/tips on this would be appreciated. Thanks, James

I've got a silver Cobra. I used Dupli-Color engine paint (Ford blue, what else?). After I painted the calipers I wait until they flash and tack pretty well. Then I grab a shop rag, stretch it over my index finger really tightly and give a shot of carb cleaner on it. Then you GENTLY wipe the paint off the raised letters. Do it several times so you don't get the surrounding paint. Cost me squat, looks good, last's a long time. I've done several 120 to 0 pulls so heat isn't a problem. Save your self a few $.
