Painting Cobra Calipers. Silver any pics?

I was thinking of paiting my new cobra calipers SILVER with RED cobra. What are your thoughts on this?

What color do you think on my car? (pics in sig click link)

Or do u guys think the silver/red is ugly?

Those look sweet.

Did you paint the bracket and the caliper the same color? What did you paint the letters with? What kind of paint did you use spray or brush?

Save your self some time and grief and dont paint the letters. Just do that primer, paint color of your choice and let dry for 45 minutes to an hour. The with a razor blade scrap the paint off the "COBRA" and then clear coat the entire caliper-Shane

i have a torch red cobra,. 03, i want to do my calipers since im changeing the breaks, thought about red, but i also thought abuot doing them silver and the leters in black, i have the stock rims in chrome??????????

You can also get high temp stickers that will go right over the letters. I put high temp stickers on my SVTF calipers after I painted them and it worked great! I found them on ebay.

www.discbrakesrus.com may have some pictures of silver calipers. I have a set of their brakes (well did... sold the car they were on) and the quality was amazing. To bad they dont have redfire in them.... they do have a deep candy that may work.

well I found out that the high temp decals will not be a direct fit over the "cobra" letters on our calipers.

I guess I will just have to mask them off and paint them twice.
