Hey guys,

I have to pass emissions by next week and am a little worried about the car failing. Right now the car (03 cobra) has long tube headers, catless x-pipe and EGR delete (bc TVS blower). My tune is great and i am not throwing a check engine light at all. Should I be worried ? Anyone have some location suggestions to get it tested, where they aren't looking for cats..etc?

Thanks fellas

I brought my car to Montambaults in Waterbury and they never do visual inspection. I passed with flying colors there. Good luck Billy.

You are only available one not ready. Since you have no EGR, that system will be not ready. If you have no cats on the car. That will cause a not ready as well and you will most likely fail.

Thanks for the warning guys, I might as well just find a midpipe with cats and have my tune modified to include 02 sensors. That way my only non-ready will be EGR.

just update the tune and be done with it......you'll never have to worry about it again. The car is 11 years old, in 4 more years you'll be emissions exempt anyways.

Its not that easy. CT the car has to be 25 years old to be emissions exempt. Updated the tune will not do anything unless you dial it in to read the o2 sensors and egr through the tune to read correctly even if its not on the vehicle.
