Paxton install question

Hey guys when installing my Paxton blower it seems that the passenger side radiator hose made it nearly impossible to fit the oem intake snorkel for the stock air box any ideas?

I had to cut out a piece out of the plastic to make it fit and it's holding fine. In other words where the hose is touching cut until you have the right clearance. I believe someone else was able to leave the hose in the stock position and use it that way.
