Hey all, have some weird issues....
So I swapped my stock seats for corbeau seats and love them. After the swap I had an srs light, did some research to find that I needed to install resistors and the bladder in the passenger seat.
Ok swapped the stuff over and installed KohR Motorsports resistors (2ohm).
Still have srs lights...
Unhooked battery for hours...
Still have srs light...
Returned tune to stock... light on
Uploaded my vmp tune... light on
KAM reset.... light still on...

At this point I’ve done anything I know how to do. I decided to take it to the dealer for the light and bladder calibration.
Technician says he tried several times to get the computer to connect and it always the PIN is incorrect on the pcm. Looked up the pcm and mine has been swapped, not by ford. He stated the pcm vin code is not my cars vin.
My pcm says “GTU5” but there’s a “6” written in sharpie over my 5....

I’m at a loss here. Idk what to do.
I emailed support at vmp to see if there’s anything that their tuning may have done here but I would think Fords computer could access it even when tuned?

Go to a private shop and have them pull the codes in the srs module. Whats happening is the srs module monitors those circuits all the time so when it detects an open or short it immediately puts the light on. If you can get the codes then you know where to look.

The dealership probably didn’t want to mess with your car.
