PCV SYSTEM, Lengthening lines for separator

If you lengthen the tubes in the PCV system substantially to install oil separators, does it cause a problem as far as the computer metering the air in the system?? Will it throw a code?

if you're mounting a seperator on the rear firewall, you wouldn't lengthen the lines that much... more or less you'd just be splicing into the existing pcv line. it doesnt throw codes or anything.
