Could someone with a stock suspension ride height cobra measure the gap from the top of the tire to the bottom of the fenderwell for the front and back for me and tell me what the numbers are? trying to figure out how low my "mystery" springs lower me (previous owner installed them) so when i replace them i can have a similar drop...

thanks for any and all help!!

You may want to list your tire size and find out the tire size of the person giving you stock measurements I think different tire sizes might give different measurements but not sure I'm sure someone will correct be probably rather brutally as well. Good luck I have springs already so can't help sorry.

If I were you I'd measure from the ground to the top of the fender lip. That's a lot more accurate.

Ground to the fender lip with 245/45/17 tires:

Front - 28 inches
Rear - 27 1/4 inches

That's what it roughly looks like from some old pictures I had when I installed my springs.

are you sure those are stock measurements ?

I just measured mine and came out to be

Front:26.5
Rear: 27

my rear looks a lot lower than just .25 inches lower...

That looks about 1" lower than stock, to me anyway.

see thats what i thought...but when i measured it was just at 27 from the ground to the top of the middle of the fender well

im thinking of getting H&R sport springs, do you think it would be about the same drop? I really dont want to go any lower

tire size changes your measurement whether you measure from the ground or to the tire.

Like I said, wasn't an exact perfect measurement, but here is the photo where I was measuring it.

Also, for comparison, a sideview of my car when it had the stock suspension.
