Let me know what you think. I drove the car 200 miles this weekend plus two dyno sessions and one trip to the track, strapped in and snug. I love this thing. Chassis is stiffened up and the total added weight was maybe 70 lbs. Cost? If you want it in chromemoly it is not cheap. About $1200 total installed cost, including the harnesses.

But I can go to an NHRA track now!! Where the air is a little denser.

Nice run!
I just can bring myself to put a roll bar in mine.
If I decide to really get into drag racing, I'm going to spend $3k on a fox body and build it.

Yep, I agree. But mine is two years older. And my friends are all in the 9s and 10s and run at NHRA tracks. But I love the convertible during the week. It took me nearly a year after buying the roll bar kit to go ahead and put it in the car. But it is a bolt in and reversible. And I kept the IRS. But the car is going to be a drag car, primarily. That said, I drove it as much as I could this weekend, with the top down.
