This weekend I will be lowering the truck. I already have Belltech shackles on it and I will be romoving 2 leafs and throwing a set of slappers on it.

Will my pinion angle change enough that I need to change shims or anything?

And for my own personal knowledge....how can I measure the existing pinion angle and the angle after a vehicle has been lowered/raised?

I have searched but couldnt find anything.

It already has a 2" Belltech Shackle on it and removing 2 rear leafs should give it a 3.50 - 3.75 drop respectfully. (given the shackle doesnt really give it a true 2" drop)

Front: 2" (with 1 coil cut)

So, my main question is weather or not I will need to do anything to the pinion agnle withthis set-up?

I know alot of guys who have gone this route....I figured someone would know right off hand.

after lowering my with the 3in hangers and the 2in shackles.. the pinion angle was messed up but youll be able to tell when its messed up... also if the truck has a viberation or something that means something is wrong
