Another fun fact. The Demon is speed limited to 168 MPH with stock PCM.
From the 2018 Demon Supplement.
NOTE:
• This vehicle is speed limited to 168 mph (270 km/h) based on the factory tire speed rating.
• The Demon Crate Powertrain Control Module (PCM) is not equipped with a speed limiter. This will allow the vehicle to exceed the tires’ speed rating of 168 mph (270 km/h). This could adversely affect the safety and handling of the vehicle. It is the customer’s responsibility to equip the vehicle with the
correct speed rated tires for their use above a speed rating of 168 mph (270 km/h).
• Contact Nitto Tire at 888-529-8200 for additional tire information.

"Dodge offers a fully OEM developed bolt on drag strip performance package
as an aftermarket option for your Dodge Challenger SRT Demon."
You could not buy a Demon from the dealer with the Demon Crate kit installed. It is an aftermarket kit that you had to order from Dodge after you took deliver of the car and it was sent to your home.
"FCA US LLC does not authorize the installation or use of any part noted as “Track-Use” on any new vehicle prior to its first retail sale."
"This aftermarket kit is only available to new Challenger SRT Demon customers and can be purchased by calling the SRT Concierge line at 800-998-1110 . For your convenience, the aftermarket kit will be delivered to your home and supports your factory vehicle warranty when installed by an authorized dealer."
It's like ordering a 2012 GT500 and then ordering a Ford Performance 750 HP SC kit and then claiming your car is stock because Ford sold the fully OEM developed bolt on performance package as an aftermarket option.
So are you saying it’s not a fair race if I have 100 octane mode going?
Also Dodge has to install all of the Demon Crate parts or your warranty is voided. Seems pretty OEM to me.

While California slowed down the part's release it was ultimately granted an Executive Order and thus legal for use in the state of California, as well as the rest of the country.

It would be interesting to compare rwhp and rwtorque between a stock 2020 GT500 and a stock 808 HP Demon. It would be nice to compare the drivetrain losses on both cars.
sounds like someone is scared.. you can run whatever fuel you want. but now the truth is the crate stuff, is stated as aftermarket addition, and NOT to be installed until after the 1st retail sale, in addition to the other literature that states it is NOT street legal.. so the balloon as has popped. Race me in whatever "stock" configuration you want. we both you knowr going to bitch out, as you have already came up with enough excuses

If it's not STREET LEGAL, the how the hell have I been driving it on the street, passed emissions, passed inspection, for almost 2 years now? I'm gonna smoke your ass it's not even funny.

The GT500 will give an as delivered Demon all it can handle. Once you mod the demon with a race gas tune and drag wheels it will have the edge.

You are scared that’s why you won’t run, that’s why you complain, it’s 2 hours away....
If dodge intended to run 100oct and dodge “Aftermarket” options it would have come that way from the factory before the sale, not an addition purchase only after you purchase the vehicle.
