Ok with my little knowledge of shocks and struts, I know that struts support the main weight of the vehicle and shocks serve as a damper (supports no significant weight of the vehicle). So my understanding is, struts go upfront and shocks go in the rear?

Am I right or was that the dumbest question anyone has ever asked on this forum. lol

I'm about to pull the trigger on these:

(front)
Tokico HP Series Strut (94-04) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping

(rear)
Tokico HP Series Shock (94-04 excl. IRS Cobra) at AmericanMuscle.com - Free Shipping!

yeah i stopped worrying about the whole strut/shock nomenclature. iirc a strut means it serves also as a structural part of the suspension, whereas a shock is just a standalone unit.

parts sites make it easy to not care about the actual part callout.
